Miruzen respects intellectual property rights. This is the procedure to request a content takedown.
What content Miruzen displays
- Metadata comes from public APIs (AniList and MyAnimeList via Jikan).
- Images (covers, banners) are displayed from their source servers — Miruzen does not host image or video files.
- The only content hosted by Miruzen is its original editorial text (guides and lists).
Because of this, if the issue concerns a source image or data point, a definitive takedown usually also requires contacting the source (AniList or MyAnimeList). We will nonetheless process the removal on our side promptly.
How to send a takedown notice
Email [email protected] including:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed (and proof that you own it or represent the owner).
- The exact URL of the content on Miruzen you want removed.
- Your contact details (name, email).
- A good-faith statement that the identified use is not authorized by the owner, their agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or an authorized representative.
- Your signature (physical or digital).
What we do upon receipt
We will review the notice promptly and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the identified content and notify you by email.
Counter-notification
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notification to the same address with the identification of the material, your contact information and a good-faith statement that the removal was mistaken.
